love love love

Since this blog is mostly for me. ill be talking to myself a little. Remember that song by Avalanche city? "love love love" also "see you soon" by coldplay ? yea well they're calling my name today. and so are all my pics in the "me and ky" folder. I cannot stop looking at them and thinking..."wow 24 days...and this man that has made me happier than anyone i've ever know is leaving. for two years!" The thought is really overwhelming me a bit. but Im also sooo excited! we both need to grow and experience life and i am sooo excited to see what will happen in two years. I can't wait to watch him grow through letters of his experiences. I can't wait till August 2014 when we reunite and things will be even better than they are now. That gives me hope. the three week mark is hard. Not wanting it to come while at the same time just thinking, can we rip the band aid off and get this next two years rolling? I am just so grateful to have had the past two years together. They have FLOWN by which makes me hope the next two fly by also. Kyler has taught me so much, bu mostly just to be happy no matter what. If ky has something happen that i think aw that would make me sad why aren't you sad? he replies "I love to be happy, I choose to be happy because it's not worth it to be sad." wow...could he get any wiser? And almost every "happiest moments" in my life have been with him. Every time i think about getting sad because he's leaving, i think of the people in Ukraine, and think about how MY ky will bring the gospel to their lives and it is VERY heart warming. That is what gets me through. I am so blessed to have this love. and....let the journey begin

So I have been trying my hand at photography...And im a little obsessed. these are just a FEW of some pics i have taken and edited . seriously it was sooo hard to choose which ones to put on here! haha I did connors bday and a random fun one with my bestie claire. Its so fun and i feel like it takes my mind off of everything else. i loooove it

SCHOOOOOOLS OUT

School is out and i couldnt be happier to have ky be free! i have been off track meanwhile he has been working so hard. He has been so busy with English, Chemistry, Anat and phys, Science foundations and mission prep that almost everytime we hang out has to be devoted to school work. I am so glad he is a hard worker. It is something I admire sooo much!  And of course he ends the semester with straight A's!! I dont mean A and A-.... alllll A's! He deserves it.! I love his love and passion for learning and working hard. He is a great example to me.  and now with 39 days left till he leaves, with now more homework and class... He is all mine! hehe To celebrate we made oreo truffles with our favorite friends Blake and Chelsea..who we met by fate. And went out to the sand dunes for a fire. It was sooo fun

Dear Elder

 So Ky's mom just got back from utah and she stopped at Flags and Stuff and brought home sooo many fun things! ( more to come in another post) AND mike decided to dress up and knock on the door and give us the first discussion! it was soooo funny and unexpected and awesome! I am so glad to have these lovely people in my life! and i love my bracelet, ring and flag.! REPRESENT UKRAINE!

Come fly away with me

WOW! this was like the best day ever. Ky and i drove to Island park and Dirtbiked alll day. Then we went to the playmill and saw my favorite play! "The Drowsy Chaperone" It was so fun to get away and enjoy a whole day together.

Once a year

Once a year comes a very special day...thats right...birthdays! I cant believe this is Ky's last bday here! Next year I will be sending all his birthday presents in a cardboard box! So bitter sweet. The bday this year started with me attacking his car at 1 in the morning. He got soooo many weird looks driving the green machine today. Then we went on a GORGEOUS dirtbike ride up by kelly canyon. where we stopped by the river and opened his present. I embroidered a pillow case for his mission, got him an awesome dirtbike stand, (to replace his plastic bucket nailed onto a wood panel that he made) ..(thanks cameron for the help picking it out) and i put together a small photo album of all our pictures that he can take with him. It was a great day and im so proud and happy to have this young man in my life:)

What Friends are for

 Friends are there to go fishing with. Claire is a true friend. She helps me when I am afraid of our worms when we go fishing.

 Friends pile 2 mattresses and 50 blankets in the back of a truck and go to the drive in together, just to end up talking and missing out on the movie.

Just wanted to have a post about friends because they are so important to me. Shout out to my claire. I don't know what I would do without my best friend who puts up with me and wants to have all the same adventures that I do. Here's to having and being a friend.

DREAMING OF.... UKRAINE!?

It's official, the love of my life and best friend is going to be spending two years in....UKRAINE! This day was unbelievably amazing! I have never felt more at peace and happy in my whole life. Given i was very emotional,( I cried more than anyone there) and I am going to miss him more than anything, I am honestly not afraid for him to leave. I love him so much I do not mind at all sharing him with other people so that he can teach the gospel. I made an amazing video of all the footage from his call. I hope to be able to upload it soon.

A day with My dreamy boy and his bike

Throw in my favorite boy, a dirtbike, 70 degree weather, a beautiful river, and paper bag lunches and what do you get? An absolute dream date. Ky and I got his dirtbike out for the first ride of the summer and wow...it was blissful!! I could not love spending time with ky more than I do, and my absolute favorite is our dirtbike times. I mean I can't resist, cuddlin up to this cute kid, surrounding ourselves with nature bein silly, and lunch on the river,  it doesn't get better than that. I finally bought me a helmet and i LOOOOVE it !!! I've been waiting to find the right one for a year!! Best day ever. Besides the day Kyler opened his mission call.

Future Nanny?

Claire gets all the hook ups for the nanny jobs in Rexburg and it is sooo not fair. So to be fair I tag along :) I love children soo much. It is something I've always known but recently, I have embraced it more and it is my passion. So if anyone knows any nanny jobs anywhere in the country next spring, or even here in Rexburg for this summer PLEASE let me know:)

Dream Catcher

My friend Emalee got a "Smash Book" for easter. I was very curious about this book. And then when i got a look at it i was excited beyond words! It is the cutest thing ever. A book filled with awesome scrapbook designed paper that you just put whatever you wants in there, movie tickets, love notes, qoutes, ideas you want to do in the future, recipes that are amazing,snapshots, whatever you want! And it was only ten dollars. So here it is ladies and gents

 It comes with an awesome pen. One side is a fine tip pen/marker. And get this... the other side is a glue stick.! its awesome. Then there are awesome accessories you can get, i got some vintage looking craft tape to tape things in, and smash book note pad that is for quotes and stuff.

This is the page i put our movie tickets from "This means War" on. super fun right? I will fit tonz more on this page but for now.. just this :)  I wrote  "Date night, Team Tuck!" because that is who i wanted her to choose in the movie, and all of our friends that were there. 

Especially since I only have about three months with ky before his mish, i don't want to forget anything:)

Any who, you should get one. It's an awesome way to catch your memories in the moment. 

Dreaming of COLORS

Oh my goodness. I LOVE my best friends sooo much! We are having so much fun in utah. We have been shopping, and gone to the festival of colors so far.  We were soo excited. We parked about two miles from the festival and walked there because its crazy. there are so many people. They said it was the biggest crowd they had ever had. So we walked so far (claire Barefoot) And got in, got our chalk and PARTIED! there was live music, tonz of people and lots of colors. Plus the SWEET Hindu temple that i never knew was there! who knew. Chalk all up in your nose and eyes and everywhere,being claustrophobic, and not being able to breathe... so worth it. :) LIFE IS A DREAM

Living the dream!

Say hello to my new life. :) jealous? haha. For my child 150 class we got to plan an activity and actually go into the preschool labs.! This is just a pre req class for the program so i was excited to go in for the first time. The theme that day they were learning about was balls! So my group decided to do a ball toss! We bout this science poster board and i covered it with free samples of fabric and cut out the wholes, we had a beach ball, football, volleyball, and a bunch of fun small balls of jaden and connor's that i borrowed(thanks:) This poor poster went through so much and ended up looking kinda homely but i figured the kids wouldn't care and ill learn from this haha. It was soooo fun i loved it!! i cant wait to start the program!

Dreaming of Spring :)

It is getting beautiful here in Rexburg! Spring is practically here. With just an ounce of sunshine nobody is staying inside! Thus why we planned our first cookout this weekend! It was crazy going around town to get our things ready. Every living college student was out walking, playing, partying at the park, which meant an ambulance was there. ha i am so excited for nice weather and partyin with ma girl claire! Also got to hang out with her roomate emalee.. the three of us make a great team and we'll be up to lots more soon! summer lovin!

Love is a Dream

Valentines day was amazing. Im so "lucky" im in love with my best friend.Kyler surprised me with a very romantic evening. It was beautiful. Then we were able to have fun at his basketball game. It was SO fun watching him play again. they won and he did sooo well! Crab dinner, love slide show, flowers, bball and movie.. i literally could not ask for a more perfect night. ahhh bliss:) haha

A year and a half of pure joy. Could not ask for a better, or more attractive man ;)

The Paris Dream

I have an obsession wity europe, especially paris. So i chose a paris type theme for my new room! it is soo awesome!!!!

My comforter is amazing i love it. an my mom made that pink accent pillow :) the three mirrors ar my favorit part of the room.

dreaming of love

I suddenly realized that it was the end of January and that reminded me of Valentines day! I was very glad i remembered this on January 31 because i wanted to do the 14 days of Valentines Day for Ky this year. Again i swear I am the cheesiest girl. But it has been a great couple days and Ill keep u posted on the last 12 days.

 Day 1: I colored this lovely pic and put it on a powerade because he loves his blue  powerade.                  So for a cheesy saying i wrote "we are a great ""power"" couple!"

Day 2: all i did was put a plate of amazing cookies in his car that said thanks for being my cookie. :) haha i laugh just thinking how awful am at this. But my point is just to do simple things everyday. its the simple things that matter right? ahhh

Christmas at the Randalls

This year we only had the boys, Jake and Jon, plus the lovely DeeAnna. With my two sisters out East i was left to fend for myself! But everything turned out great. It was super fun, I even got to be Santa's helper which i have been begging to do for a long time! Christmas included: Amazing non stop food from mom, remote control helicopters, ginger in a reindeer outfit, a 6 hour game of Monoply, (more like a battle) which Jacob won, and new movie excursions: Missions Impossible IV and Sherlock Holmes II. Great Christmas!

This was my attempt to be crafty for Kyler's Christmas present this year :) Along with a gorgeous new jacket (if i say so myself,) which he really needed, and a measuring tape letter... :)

Kylers present to me!! an awesome picture blanket, story: he made me believe that we were taking these pictures because his parents wanted to test out their new camera, (which is awesome!) but he had this in mind the whole time! SNEAKY little bugger! the bottom says: "je t'aime plus infini et l'au dela" our little inside joke. "i love you most infinity and beyond" suuuuuper cheesy. but thats what makes it great. plus he got me some TOMS that i wanted sooo bad. and a cd of great love songs. and pretzels :D

Yes i would say it was a very merry Christmas and i am very blessed.

Hello Blogging world.

This is my attempt at blogging...we'll see how it goes. I am hoping it motivates me to take more pictures and make the most out of every experience. If anyone has any suggestions, or advice, it will be greatly appreciated.
    I guess in order for you to be interested in my now, you need to know about my before.
I just finished my first semester of college at BYU-I. and it was a great experience. I learned a lot about myself, and the future I want. I have a love for music, kids, the deeper meaning of things, the gospel, my family, mom especially, and my amazzzzing boy. All of which will be properly introduced in due time I hope.
